In the enthralling world of The Lost Creature, readers meet Olivia Scott, a daring wildlife biologist with a who travels the world searching for the last of the lost creatures; animals that have been deemed extinct. Olivia's quest captures the attention of Noah Dunne of Chrono Bioscience, who steps in with full funding to find the extinct Tasmanian Tiger, rumoured to be living deep in the Tasmanian wilderness.

Little does Olivia know that Chrono Bioscience is on the brink of developing synthetic de-extinction technology through cutting-edge bioengineering. The inspiration behind The Lost Creature

Writer's Note

The Lost Creature is my latest foray into speculative fiction, set in the near future, and stems from a deep contemplation of the ethical quandaries surrounding technological advancements. Inspired by the ever-evolving landscape of bioengineering and the prospect of de-extinction, I have grappled with whether humanity should wield the power to resurrect lost species, envisioning a world where technology blurs the line between creator and creation.

In this book, I navigate the uncharted territories of ethical dilemmas, exploring the consequences of playing god with nature. In The Lost Creature, readers will go on a thought-provoking journey that challenges preconceptions, delves into the intricacies of scientific progress, and raises poignant questions about the limits of human intervention in the delicate balance of the natural world.

For Publishers

In my debut novel — When He Wakes, which I'm currently sending out to publishers — I showcase my ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with readers and my commitment to weaving captivating stories. With my sights set on my next speculative fiction endeavour, The Lost Creature, I am eager to demonstrate my dedication to writing gritty speculative fiction novels with engaging characters and thought-provoking plots. I invite publishers to explore the exciting prospects of collaborating on this and future projects and to be part of the journey as I continue to captivate audiences with my fresh take, new approach, and original ideas.
